About the Artist
Georgetta Bundley is a visual artist and physician. She is native to Chicago, IL, but currently residing in Tampa, Florida. Georgetta has always expressed a passion for creating. As early as elementary school, she has shown a keen love for drawing and painting. Her primary medium is acrylics, however, she is expanding to other mediums such as digital and acrylic gouache. Her artistic inspirations include LiFran Fort, Alicia Henry, and Aaron Douglas.
Georgetta graduated from Fisk University with a Bachelor's of Art in Biology and Art. Upon graduation, she would go to attend medical school at Meharry Medical College. She is currently working as a palliative care physician. Art continues to play an integral role in her daily life. Her ultimate goal is utilizing her art to bring healing to those around the world. As her late mother would say, "we are not placed on this earth to serve ourselves, but to use our gifts to bless others."
