Almost one year ago, Dr. Mukkamala was diagnosed with an 8-cm tumor in his brain's left temporal lobe, while serving as president-elect of the AMA. He wasn't sure he'd live long enough to get sworn in to his elected office.
Join us as Dr. Mukkamala reflects on his journey, the challenges he overcame, and the perspective he gained through it all. “I was on death’s door as a patient,” he shares. “Now, I have a better understanding of our healthcare system.”
